After taking overall champion in the pre-sale show, 1st prize ewe lamb, Craigdoo Fern, sold for a top price of 3,800gns at Swatragh. Bred by Patrick and Orla Grant, Fern is sired by the renowned Carlaustan Extrovert and out of Kilroot Electric and has found her new home with R Nelson.
A & C Richardson’s reserve champion, Sunnybank Earwig, sold carrying twins and was knocked down at the second highest price of 2,750gns.
2000gns was reached twice on the night, first by Partick & Orla Grant, Craigdoo, for Craigdoo Fergie. Purchased by A Trainor, Fergie is an ET sister to Fern. Cleenagh Film Star was the second, selling to P McKillop. Drumhirk Decider is her sire and IM2123 her dam.
