Liam Campbell topped the last of the Spring Sales when he sold shearling ewe, Glencloy Fannie, for 1,900gns to S Allen. Fannie is sired by the recognized Challoch Bearskin and out of a home bred ewe Glencloy Bethany.
Next on the price list was a ewe lamb from Patrick and Orla Grant, Craigdoo Go Getter, selling for 1,300gns. Sired by Myreside Elite who has previous daughters sold for up to 2,700gns and out of Glencloy Dumbo, Go Getter found her new home with Glenkeen Livestock.
1,000gns was reached twice, first for another shearling ewe from Liam Campbell, Glencloy Faustine. Fautine has all Glencloy breeding with her mother being Glencloy Esmeralda and her father, Glencloy Egrade. Declan McElhennon of Slieve Gallion flock was her purchaser.
Also selling for 1,000gns was another Challoch Bearskin sired shearling ewe, this time from Kyle Henning. Brackagh First Class is out of Glencloy Daffodil and was purchased by David McClintock, Tamneybrake.
Finally, topping the ram lambs at 900gns was Mourneview Goliath, from Gareth McCabe. Sired by Ty-Gwyn Diego and out of Pentre Deborah, Goliath sold to W J Bradley.
