Johnstown Dominates Swatragh Autumn Sale

2,900gns Johnstown Gracey from CJ Johnston Female Champion, Tullynagowan Gaga sold for 2,000gns

Chris Johnston of the Johnstown flock, Fivemiletown, County Tyrone dominated trade at the Swatragh Autumn Sale when he achieved three of the top five prices. Leading the way at 2,900gns was the 2^nd prize ewe lamb, Johnstown Gracey. Sired by the Dutch Dominator son, Merryboro Fastandfurious, and out of Import Dixie Chick, Gracey found her new home with Messers McVey.

Next up for Chris and highest priced male was a Carlaustan Extrovert son, Johnstown Flapjack. This Glencloy Charlene bred shearling sold to Tony Gallagher for 1,700gns. Also out of Charlene was the top priced ram lamb, Johnstown Galaxy. It was Shannon O’Kane who purchased this Saveock Espresso Martini son for 1,700gns.

Number two on the overall pricelist was the 1^st place ewe lamb from Mr S & P Fee. With Diamond Felix and Drumhirk Dreamy in her pedigree, Tullynagowan Gaga sold for 2000gns to Wesley Cousins.

The Corrigan family sold their Glencloy Everest ewe lamb, Highmead Gladys for 1,700gns. Out of homebred Highmead Dixie, Gladys joined Ben Henderson.
