Overall Champion and Sale Leader, Dustland Gigha Reserve Overall Champion from Mrs M Rowlandson 1000gns Highclose Fergie from the Eminson Family

The 2023 Summer Sale season came to an end at North West Auctions, J36 on Saturday 16 September. Topping trade was judge, Pam Parkers, overall champion from the pre-sale show. Bred by Chester based Chloe Harding, Dustland Gigha is sired by Dexter 2 (IM1341) and is out of homebred Dustland Eyota. With a price tag of 2,200gns, Gigha joins Tymothy Croft, Hill Crest, Powys.

The Eminson Family, Highclose, achieved a final bid of 1000gns for their 1^st prize shearling gimmer, Highclose Fergie. This Highclose Duke Caboom daughter travelled to Barrow in Furness, Cumbria, to join the Platts family.

Tiptop Diablo topped the male trade when he sold to T & W Radford, Tomwills flock, for 900gns. Exhibited by the Myreside and Carlaustan flocks, this Tiptop Charlie x Import Hannah son has left his mark across the breed.
