Lawrie & Symington Ltd also conducted the Second Show & Sale of Dutch Spotted Sheep which topped at 1,000gns twice.
First to reach this was the Overall Show Champion - Polka-Dot Gypsophilia, a gimmer from Jimmy Bell & Rachel Buckle from Birniehall Farm, Carluke. She sold to the judge, Alistair McKerrow, Champany flock, Linlithgow. Sired by Diamond Emperor and out of a 2020-born Imported Ewe.
Just moments later, Tardoes Gale Cecilia from Mathew & Janice Simpson also received 1,000gns and sold to fellow breeder, Robert Hamilton, Shawtonhill flock, Chapelton. He takes home a Tardoes Eco Warrior daughter out of Tardoes Cecilia.
