Congratulations to all of the vendors and successful purchasers at Carlisle Inlamb Sale today.
Judge Allen Shortt (Derg) cast his expert eye over todays lots forward in the sale. Claiming 1st place Shearling Gimmer and Overall Champion today was Lot 27 from the Barquhill Flock, Barquhill Ginger that also topped today’s trade at 4,500gns, selling to Messers Thompson, Somerset.
Awarded Reserve Champion was Lot 41 from the Tiptop Flock taking Reserve Overall Champion and sold for 1,500gns to Messers Rouse, Cumbria.
A busy ringside commanded high prices today with second top price of the day going to Lot 34 for inlamb Shearling Sunnybank Gold Forever at 3,000gns to Messers Howells, West Glamorgan.
