The Welshpool Spring Society Sale got off to a flying start; the sale featured a double-topper from the Wedderburn Aged Ewes forward for Lot 1 (Lochlad Cuckoo) and Lot 2 (Effi) both off the mark at 1500gns selling with single lambs at foot, bringing imported bloodlines to the market.
Next up was a striking early January-born ewe lamb (Lot 23) from the Wilson Family was Cnwch Incandescent, which commanded a sale-topping price of 1,180gns. Cnwch Incandescent is a standout ewe lamb sired by the renowned Johnstown Evo and out of the esteemed Cnwch Esperanza. Her exceptional lineage and impressive conformation contributed to her top price. Next up was Lot 27 from the Cannon Hall Flock, Cannon Hall Interesting Chance, an early January-born ewe lamb with style and correctness sired by Backtor Godspeed who also commanded 1,180gns. Ram lambs also proved in high demand with Cannon Hall Impressor dropping the hammer at 1180gns.
