The Dutch Spotted were the breed of choice at the Welshpool Pedigree Female Sheep Sale, topping at 2800gns for Alan Smyths substitute lot, IM0798. This imported ewe sold with her Johnstown Evo sired twin ewe lambs, Eden Fizz Star and Eden Fizz Bomb and found a new home with N Gallager, Firs Farm.
Second top was for a set of twin lambs bred by Mr Brian Davies selling for 2200gns. Sired by Ty-gywn Dakota, Ty-gwyn Francesca (ewe lamb) and Ty-gwyn Ferdy (ram lamb) sold with their recipient mother to T A Perlman, Schillers Hope Court.
Next on the pricelist was a ewe lamb, Cnwch Folita, bred by ARP & DR Wilson. Folita is sired by Sandybank Epic and was purchased by Delves & Co for 2000gns.
Heading to the same home as Cnwch Folita and also selling for 2000gns was Merryboro Finders Keepers. Bred by Mr Tom Nash, this flashy ewe lamb is an ET out of Merryboro Daisy and sired by Import Dutch Dominator.
